Rock Hard Core Workout [VIDEO]

So our workout today involves a stool or a step whatever you think could work around your house or at the gym to do these drills.  I love training with a step because you can stagger the heights of your feet or hands, making it harder on your core and a real good burn that will surprise your body by doing something different.

Watch this video and follow along or see how these drills are done and mimic the on your own and add some of your own drills.. just get creative, these holds and pulses are intense and you can really get creative when you add a prop into the mix.

Workout Breakdown:

  • Quick Feet
  • Staggered squats (one leg on step)-  then hold, pulse adn do a few more
  • Other leg
  • 1 leg dead lift (with or without weights) Left leg
  • Same thing on Right leg
  • Quick feet  (get heart rate up again)
  • 1 leg lunges (left leg) – hold last rep
  • 1 leg lunges (right leg) – hold last rep
  • Quick feet
  • upper body hold (hands on step, shoulders over hands)
  • Half way down hold
  • All the way down hold
  • Alternating staggered pushups
  • Hand step ups and off (shoulders right over hands)
  • Dips
  • Mt. climbers (really twist)
  • 4.point twist (hands on step, squeeze back together)
  • On and off pushups
  • power pushups
  • Dips
  • 4 point hold ( feet on step)
  • Shoulder pushups (butt in the air)
  • Step on and off ( butt high in air)
  • Plank with butt high feet on step (walk it in tight and hold long as you can)
  • Plank suicides with butt still high, body close into step as you can
  • Straight 4.point hold
  • 4,point hold with left leg hang
  • 4.point hold with right leg hang

Kick some butt with this one.. think of some of your own moves..there’s endless things you can do!
